Description    


The Mid-Puget Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group, in partnership with the FishAmerica Foundation and the NOAA Restoration Center will restore 1830 feet of the North Fork Newaukum Creek by adding structure to the stream channel and by revegetating the streambank. Invasive riparian species will be removed and native plants will be planted along 550 feet of stream, 28 Engineered Large Woody Debris (ELWd) structures and 6 native large wood debris (LWD) sturctures will be placed within the stream channel to enhance the structural complexity of the channel.
