Description

This project developed a model dock design that uses emerging technology to reduce light interception to support eelgrass growth and to facilitate fish movement. The dock design evaluated methods such as deck prisms, solar tubes, and electric lighting to convery light to underwater habitats. Ultimately, the projectl will serve to educate the public about the nature and value of nearshore marine habitat.
