This project is an integral part of the overall Sun River Basin planning effort. This phase will focus on improving the riparian / upland plant communities along a 4 mile demonstration reach of of Muddy Creek and provide the necessary technical assistance and coordination to develop a comprehensive management plan for the entire Muddy Creek Watershed and the Sun River Basin. To improve the water quality on Muddy Creek and the Sun River. To develop management plans which emphasize on reducing irrigation flows and nutrient loss.
