1. Evaluation: Funding used for survey of Muddy Creek restoration sites to assist with project planning and to develop recommendations for structural solutions to local erosion problems. A final report was produced by the survey hydrologist.s Report Location? This report was used as part of larger efforts to restore Muddy Creek funded in FFY94 and FFY96. 2. Phase I: Provide basic guidance to local professionals and conservation district supervisors to develop a strong base from which they help other groups in determining the watershed management needs of the individual watersheds and the organizational skills necessary for implementation. Phase II: Expand the above process to include the private sector, conservation and evrionmental groups (local stakeholders), and other agency personnel. During this phase the training will be more specific to allow the group to develop management guidelines and parameters for each watershed. Phase III: (To be funded through a later grant) Provide very specific training to a sub-group of Phase II graduates and ensure that the specific needs of each watershed are addressed. To assist the Muddy Creek phase of the Sun River watershed project by developing a hydrological evaluation and survey of restoration project sites in Muddy Creek.
