Description

Part of the Washington WRP program. Survey and design a project to restore historic Yakima River floodplain palustrine, scrub-shrub and forested wetlands. Dikes and water control structures on floodplain ponds and oxbows will be built enabling the Yakama Indian Nation to restore native wetland, herbaceous and woody plant communities. , ENHANCE EMERGENT WATER , ENHANCE OTHER UPLAND HABITATS
