Protect, enhance, and mitigate wildlife and wildlife habitats impacted by the McNary Hydroelectric Project. Develop 60% native perennial herbaceous cover and limit competing and unwanted vegetation <40% cover on 400 acres of shrub-steppe/grassland habitat to contribute towards the provision of 2,495 HUs of enhancement.Purchase and install intake screens and self-cleaning system that meet current NOAA criteria for protection of juvenile (fry-sized) salmonids. Subsequent to intake upgrade, irrigate McNary Pothole features of Wanaket Wildlife Area to provide emergent wetland and associated riparian habitats for the benefit of mallard, mink, spotted sandpiper, yellow warbler and other wetland/riparian dependent species
