Description

The project provided for staff participation time in various local and regional recovery processes. Processes included the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board, Wells relicensing process ASWG, mid-Columbia HCP process, and the Upper Columbia United Tribes strategic planning process. The project enables the CCT to coordinate with other funding sources to implement critical ESA projects in the Okanogan River.

Project Benefit

Contribute to an increase in tribal capacity to coordinate with regional salmon recovery efforts, and to develop and implement various watershed and subbasin plans. Key staff infrastructure ensures that core recovery projects are adequately funded, implemented, and monitored. Staff infrastructure identifies cost-sharing opportunities that leverages adequate funding.
