Description

On-the-ground validation of potential work sites was completed by a Tribal consultant. The consultant considered an array of factors including the social, economic and ecological benefits and limitations to restoration. The Consultant selected restoration sites which best restored Coho winter rearing habitat and can be implemented in a manner that respects the rights of landowners, maintains or improves existing lifestyles, meets legal requirements, and are economically and ecologically effective and efficient.

Technical design of 8 new projects and on-the ground verification of 10 miles of stream was completed by the Tribal consultant, Coquille Watershed Association, and ODFW.

Project Benefit

1. On-the-ground verification of potential project sites on 10 stream miles
