Mill Creek Channel Restoration Enhancement

The Mill Creek Enhancement Module will address more than one mile of in-stream habitat that has been previously worked on in Phases I - V. The Enhancement Module will make a provision for going back and finer tuning individual sites to improve effectiveness or stabilize other areas after a season or so of winter rains have had a chance to develop (or destabilize) the fluvial characteristics of this somewhat aggressive and large scale stream restoration project. In light of the heavy flooding sustained by Northern California associated circa New Years Day 2006, the newly implemented work of Phase V was hard hit, however the work of Phases I - IV fared quite well, in large part to some of the fine tuning we (the Tribe) were able to implement with last years Enhancement Funding.
