Description    


This project supported multiple activities relating to Chinook recovery in the basin. Planning activities involved the devlopment of the Skagit Chinook Recovery Plan. In addition to providing comments and assistance to the plan the Tribe consulted with federal, state and local agencies on various issues related to chinook recovery.

Project Benefit    


This project is expected to assist in the recovery of the 6 Skagit chinook stocks through effective recovery planning and recovery project implentation in areas the tribe has control. The project benefits include adaptive management of hatchery, harvest and habitat as it relates to the Skagit basin and will provide insight for better management practices for the future.
