Description    


A total of 1,109,730 eggs were outplanted in East Basin Creek (94,263), Hayden Creek (90,000), Yankee Fork (197,803), Morgan Creek (52,300), Carmen Creek (68,300), Freeman Creek (51,512), Indian Creek (226,462), Beaver Creek (55,021), Dummy Creek (238,826), and Owl Creek (35,603). Total hatch success equalled 99.3% and swim-up survival was 75.4%. Therefore, total fry production was 837,269. A total of 317,000 chinook eyed eggs were incubated in Dollar Creek, a tributary of the South Fork Salmon River. In addition to egg outplants, 42,285, 67,708, 30,100, and 329,835 smolts were released into the Lehmi River, Hayden Creek, Valley Creek, and Yankee Fork, respectively.

The project will contribute to recovery by increasing steelhead and Chinook production.
