Description

Coordination of the FRGP CA Monitoring Plan (CMP) program, including review, project management, and fiscal management. This project accounts for CDFW coordinations indirect charges that are not tied to individual projects (while individual projects are tracked separately).

Project Benefit

CMP is designed to inform salmon and steelhead recovery, conservation, and management activities (developing a population monitoring database, establishing sampling framework, research/refinement of field methods, implementation of salmonid monitoring projects, and communicating with stakeholders). The coordination of the CMP program allows CDFW to carry out projects to completion.
