SRF 2025 and 2026 Coho Confabs

To produce two annual Coho Confabs to educate and train restoration specialists, and watershed restoration groups on coho salmon recovery strategies, restoration techniques, and best management practices to restore coho habitat and recover the species. SRF strives to advance restoration planning in watersheds that have coho salmon through technical education and outreach about the plight of the species, protective measures, and restoration practices that support recovery efforts.

SRF expects that training restoration practitioners in best management practices, coho recovery strategies, and watershed restoration techniques would improve coho salmon habitat planning. Participants would learn about successful pilot projects that can be replicated in other coho bearing watersheds. This technical education training would focus restoration techniques and protocols to enhance habitat conditions and address limiting factors that would benefit salmonids and their habitat.
