Description

The project described in this proposal will address forest legacy impacts by adding 106 project pieces of large wood (LWD) to 9,100 feet of Robinson Creek. The project will increase habitat complexity, pool frequency, pool depth, high-flow refugia, and over-summer rearing habitat. The goal of this project is to enhance instream habitat for coho salmon and steelhead trout along 9,000 feet of Robinson Creek by installing 38 LWD structures. These structures will be used to create habitat diversity and flow complexity for Coho, steelhead, and chinook salmon to improve both summer and winter rearing conditions.

Project Benefit

This project will increase stream habitat complexity, pool frequency, pool depth, high-flow refugia, and over-summer rearing habitat for Coho Salmon and steelhead trout.
