Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board BN 23-25

This grant provided regional organization and lead entity funding for the Lower Columbia salmon recovery region. The LCFRB is responsible for coordinating efforts to recovery ESA-listed salmon and steelhead within its region. To this end the Board maintains programs that work in concert to provide leadership and support to their 82 planning partners. Worksites are used to designate funding sources. Worksite #1, #2 and #3: The Lead Entity will coordinate the Citizen Advisory Committee and technical team. This includes arranging and facilitating meetings for both groups. The lead entity will submit a ranked habitat project list to RCO which includes community outreach, scheduling site visits, compiling project rankings, scheduling applicant workshops, etc. Worksite #4: The board performs activities to implement the plan:  awareness, support, and participation in salmon and watershed management efforts by partners and public; coordinate priority actions implementation; monitor, track and report progress; and expand long-term funding.The Sponsor shall perform the project as described in the following documents, which are incorporated herein by this reference: Standard Terms and Conditions for Project Agreement, Statement of Work, and Scope of Work. All expenses utilizing State operating funds must be billed in PRISM 45 days after the fiscal year ends. Bills are due by 08/14/2024 and 08/14/2025. Any operating funds not billed during this timeframe will be forfeited.

The Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board is the Regional Salmon Recovery Organization and Lead Entity for salmon habitat restoration for the lower Columbia River in southwest Washington. The LCFRB works with a diversity of partners to recover species comprised of 74 distinct salmon, steelhead, and bull trout populations to healthy, harvestable levels by guiding implementation of the federally adopted recovery plan.
