Description

PSMFC (MESHR) conducted independent, third-party effectiveness and validation monitoring of a randomized selection of FRGP habitat restoration projects throughout the State of California. Data was collected and analyzed to determine restoration effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods and findings were evaluated and reported.

Project Benefit

Monitoring several FRGP project types and implemented features will help determine the effectiveness of the restoration and management practices conducted and if they have the desired effect on habitat conditions. It will additionally help direct future management and restoration actions within watersheds throughout California.
