Description
This project involves working with partners at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) to monitor the Ocean Ranch Unit in the Eel River estuary post-restoration, where the tidal prism was restored including connectivity to historic sloughs that had been diked and cut-off from the estuary. The Tribe has helped to identify Coho salmon and other species of significance using including Steelhead, Longfin Smelt, Tidewater Goby, and Dungeness Crab.
