Description
PCSRF FY2014 funds were spent within the appropriate award windows. Additional funds were used to complete this work. Project included promoting water conservation at a watershed scale including: tributary outreach and workshops that engaged landowners on 5 tributaries and promoted the formation of tributary stewardship collectives; educated 75 elementary school-aged children; assessed land impacts and stewardship needs through site-specific consultations for 7 landowners; and participated in 9 workshops and 3 outreach events in collaboration with regional watershed groups.
Project Benefit
Expected benefits of project includes promoting water conservation at a watershed scale through: tributary outreach and workshops to engage landowners on 9 tributaries and promoting the formation of tributary stewardship collectives; outreach to educate 75 elementary school-aged children; site-specific consultations for 10 landowners to assess land impacts and stewardship needs; and participation in 28 workshops and 30 outreach events in collaboration with regional watershed groups.
