The grantee delivered plans, specifications and cost estimates for a project to rebuild the potable and non-potable water infrastructure at Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds in order to conserve water and increase flows in Dutch Bill Creek.

Project Benefit    


The expected benefit of the P1730403 - Dutch Bill Creek Water Conservation Design Project - 2017 is to increase water quantity in Dutch Bill Creek by completing design plans and water rights change petitions that will ultimately lead to an implementation plan via another grant application.

          Description and scope of the plan implemented
          RR-CCC-4.2.1.1 Develop cooperative projects with private landowners to conserve summer flows based on results of the NFWF efforts. The project will complete design of water system improvements and preparation of water right change petitions for the Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds, a private non-profit conference and retreat facility, which will eliminate dry season use of surface water from Redwood Gulch for non-potable purposes.
