Description
The project is now complete. Some sites were modified with the approval of the CDFW contract manager. No fish relocation or dewatering was required for this project. A total of 49 pieces of wood were installed at 18 features along 0.4469 mi.(2,360 ft) of creek.
Project Benefit
The expected result of this project is to have 20 structures containing a total of 47 pieces of large woody debris installed in a 2,350 foot reach of high priority salmonid habitat in James Creek. These structures are expected to increase stream complexity, pool frequency, rearing habitat, and add velocity refuge during peak winter flows.
