Description

Upslope road decommissioning treatments were completed at a total of 18 features along 1.63 miles of road including 12 stream crossings, 5 road fill failures, 1 bank erosion feature.

Project Benefit

Expected benefits of this Project are to reduce sediment delivery and improve water quality for all life stages of salmonids in Indian Creek by treating prioritized, high value sediment sources and preventing the delivery of approximately 9,659 cubic yards of sediment from road-related sediment delivery features to Indian Creek including, upgrading 12 features on 2.28 miles of road and decommissioning 20 features on 1.63 miles of road (a total of 32 features on 3.91 miles of road).
