The project produced 100% design plans for channel and floodplain restoration at Stanley Wakefield Wilderness Area.
Project Benefit
This Project will design a large (~28-acre) channel, floodplain and side channel restoration within the Stanley Wakefield Wilderness Area at Kerr Park on the Stanislaus River. The Project when implemented will excavate perched floodplain and remnant side channels, as well as create 3-4 spawning riffles over ~1 river mile in the main river to improve spawning conditions for adult salmonids.
