Description
The project consisted of a preliminary design for the removal of 3 fish barriers on Spring Creek and its tributaries. One fish barrier removal was completed by the design of a bridge. The other two barrier removals were completed by the design of the road realignment. The project design elements that were completed were a bridge design, a road realignment civil design including the existing Lower Spring Creek alignment decommission plan, a wetland survey with a wetland mitigation report, and a cultural resource survey was conducted. In addition, a construction cost estimate was completed. All completed design elements comply with WDFW fish passage requirements and salmon restoration requirements.
Project Benefit
The project was scheduled to be completed by 12/31/2018. It was completed 11/30/2018. The completed design will remove 3 fish barriers and rehabilitate salmon habitat.
