West Fork Canyon Creek Restoration Project

This project will focus on designing instream restoration on 2.3 miles of OC Coho Habitat. The restoration designs will be for 1.1 miles of Tick Creek and 1.2 miles of West Fork Canyon Creek within the West Fork Canyon Creek watershed.

Project Deliverables will be:

1. 100% designs for instream restoration

2. Secured Project Permits

The WF Canyon Creek restoration project will improve habitat conditions for OC Coho by placing LWD and boulders in WF Canyon Creek and Tick Creek. These structures will create a more complex stream system by reconnecting the creek with its floodplain, improve water quality, create more spawning habitat for adult Coho and Winter Steelhead and create refuge habitat for juvenile fish during high winter flows and high summer temperatures.
