Description

Monitoring efforts began in February 2020 however all fish sampling efforts ended mid-March 2020 due to the Covid pandemic stay at home order. Despite being unable to conduct fish sampling, work continued on vegetation surveys, maintenance of the data logger network, drone flight, and sediment accretion monitoring. Unspent funds from 2020 were used to pay for some Qwuloolt monitoring work in the beginning of 2021.

Project Benefit

The purpose of the project is to monitor the effects of restoration efforts at the Qwuloolt restoration site to inform future restoration efforts, assess success of restoration efforts, and provide information to implement adaptive management on the restoration site over time. See Qwuloolt monitoring plan for details.
