Description
Conducted spawning escapement surveys on: Spring, Malaney, Uncle Johns, Campell, Mill, Deer, Johns, Skookum, Elson, Bishop, Little Rock, Gosnell, Goldsborough, North Goldsborough, and Coffee Creeks from September to December. Surveys occurred bi-monthly on coho reaches to gather data on: coded wire tags, fin clips, scale samples, length, run timing, and run size. Conduct live adult counts and carcass surveys.
Project Benefit
The proposed project continues to contribute to our knowledge of wild coho production and marine survival. The project will specifically inform on health, timing and most importantly on marine survival of coho within South Sound. Information provided will be specifically used to guide restoration efforts within Deep South Sound Inlets.
