Description

At Site 1, the existing 6-ft round steel culvert was replaced with a 9-ft high by 18-ft wide x 100-ft long steel arch culvert embedded in concrete footings. Roughly 250 linear feet of channel work was completed, and erosion control (jute mats, straw waddles) was applied on all disturbed areas. Additionally, all disturbed areas were hydroseeded with native plant seeds. Finally, post-construction plantings were completed (~60 plantings of willows and cottonwoods).

At Site 2, the existing 4-ft round steel culvert was replaced with a 10-ft round steel culvert partially countersunk to for natural stream bottom. Roughly 300 linear feet of

channel work was completed, and erosion control (jute mats, straw waddles) was applied on all disturbed areas. Additionally, all disturbed areas were hydroseeded with

native seeds. Finally, post-construction plantings were completed (~40 plantings of willows and cottonwoods).

Project Benefit
