No Description entered.

Project Benefit

The project will decommission about 0.8 miles of the Stafford Creek Road and relocate it out of the floodplain. The project will benefit ESA-listed steelhead and bull trout, spring run Chinook salmon, and resident rainbow and cutthroat trout. Road decommission and relocation will benefit target species by reducing sediment delivery, restoring full floodplain function, increasing riparian vegetation for shading and future wood recruitment, and improving retention of groundwater and gravels for spawning.
