Description

No work in 2016. In 2017, 1.49 miles of road were decommissioned, including 10 stream crossings and 5 landslide features, saving 8270 cubic yards of sediment.

Approximately 1.49 miles of inner gorge road was permanently decommissioned, including the riparian road adjacent to Anderson Creek and the Guklch 8 Spur. 17 individual sediment delivery sites were treated including 10 stream crossings, 3 landslides, 2 eroding banks, and 2 discharge points for road drainiage. These treatments will eliminiate the future delivery of 8,569 cubic yards of sediment from Anderson Creek.

9.03 acres of Sequioia sempervirens was planted for erosion and sediment control.

Project Benefit

This project will reduce the input of fine sediment into Anderson Creek which will improve water quality and spawning habitat for Coho.
