33 miles of stream were monitored for redds, carcasses, and adult salmonids.
Project Benefit
This project will track abundance, distribution, and timing for wild winter steelhead populations, providing current baseline conditions and creating a framework for continued trend monitoring to determine population recovery. Increasing steelhead populations to recovery levels is a goal that both anglers and the GRWC hold in common but the lack of
credible data on current conditions hinders evaluating the link between restoration efforts and population response. Accomplishments
