Description

This project sought to protect 73.5 acres of biologically sensitive pocket estuary, nearshore and riparian habitat in Little Fishtrap Estuary, along the shoreline of Dana Passage in Thurston County, Washington. Unfortunately the sponsor had to close the project without acquiring the property due to lack of landowner support.

Before the project was cancelled, the sponsor spent funding on Appraisals, surveys, and other administrative costs.

Project Benefit

Goal was to conserve crucial nearshore habitat, but the property was not acquired.
