Description

This project installed and maintained a water gage on Slikok Creek to collect sufficient water flow data to develop a reservation of water application to ensure that sufficient flow remains in the stream to support all life stages of local salmon populations. After three years of data collection, the data was analyzed and a reservation of water was developed and submitted.

Project Benefit

This project will provide long-term habitat protection by legally reserving a sufficient natural flow regime in Slikok Creek to sustain existing salmon habitat and production.
