Description

The project sponsor completed the yellow book appraisal (appraisal) for the 60.404 acres to be purchased. The appraisal was completed through a subcontract and came in significantly lower than expected. After meeting with the landowner, the landowner decided not to go through with the property sale due to the low appraisal value and withdrew from the project.

Project Benefit

The expected outcome of this land acquisition would be protection of this property, Lake Creek and its associated salmonids. The expected effectiveness of this proposed action would ensure the protection of the headwaters of Lake Creek.
