Description    


The Hostler Creek Fish Barrier was removed, allowing fish access to up to 2 more miles of high quality habitat.

Project Benefit    


The project will re-establish anadromous fish access and habitat use to an additional 2 miles of healthy stream corridor upstream of the existing barrier’s location. The public draft of the NMFS recovery plan specifically call out the removal of the Hostler Creek barrier on pg 38-23, lines 10-15. http://swr.nmfs.noaa.gov/recovery/soncc_draft/Chapter_38_Lower_Trinity_River_Population.pdf
