Description
Back-fill and seal 4 rock weir structures. Cover 2 exposed willow mattresses. Repair and control erosion with rock material on upstream side of culvert. Control upslope erosion at 3 seasonal tributary crossings.
Project Benefit
Project will improve habitat by controlling stream bank and non-point sources of erosion, stabilizing instream habitat by reinforcing previously constructed rock grade control structures, and increasing vegetative canopy along the creek. These measures will ultimately yield long term benefits to steelhead by decreasing sediment and providing canopy to reduce water temperatures.
