Description    


The CCC constructed 25 instream habitat structures including 48 pieces of large wood and root wads. The CCC modified 2 log debris accumulations and one existing log deflector structure. Planted 1500 Douglas fir and redwood trees combined.

Project Benefit    


Improve instream habitat and provide holding habitat for migrating salmonids with creation of habitat enhancement structures. Structures will improve the quality of salmonid spawning and rearing habitat, increasing the number and depth of pools, sort and collect spawning gravels and decrease water velocities. The project will also restore the riparian corridor with the planting of native riparian plants following removal of invasive plants.
