Description    


Restored habitat along 2,700 ft. of Howe Creek: placed 28 large live redwood stumps, armored 290 ft unstable streambank, installed 4,400 ft exclusion fencing, planted 4,000 conifers and 3,000 cottonwoods, decommissioned 1 stream crossing and upgraded 4.

Project Benefit    


Increase number and frequency of pools with woody cover. Increase riparian canopy. Reduce sediment delivery to Howe Creek.
