Description

Radiotelemetry was used to characterize the migratory behavior, habitat use, and ultimate deposition of adult steelhead trout and coho salmon in the North Fork Toutle River watershed.

Project Benefit

This project will help identify fish passage options in the North Fork Toutle River to reestablish viable steelhead and coho populations upstream of the Sediment Retention Structure (SRS), the current barrier to upstream migrating adult salmonids.
