Description

Finished Biological Assessment and received Instream Work Window permit in accordance with Biological Opinion response. Production actions included the side stream incubation of one million steelhead eyed eggs in the upper Salmon River system as well as in-stream incubation of 300,000 chinook eyed eggs in Dollar Creek of the South Fork Salmon River. Additional chinook eggs were in-stream incubated in the East Fork Salmon River. There were also 530,000 (majority unmarked) steelhead smolts released in the Lemhi River, East Fork Salmon River, Valley Creek, and Yankee Fork Salmon River for supplementation of natural production. In addition, 200 pairs of adult steelhead were released into the Yankee Fork Salmon River at the first bridge above Custer.
