Description

Planted over one million steelhead eggs in 19 watersheds in the Salmon River Basin. We also planted over 300,000 chinook salmon eggs into Dollar Creek that were received from the South Fork Salmon River McCall Fish Hatchery. Total steelhead smolt releases were 30,000, 120,000, 330,000 in Valley, Lemhi, and Yankee Fork, respectively. Over 16,000 chinook captive reared eggs were planted in East Fork Salmon River. Tribal chinook salmon and steelhead fishery were monitored during harvest season.
