Description

The Riparian Vegetation Nursery (Greenhouse) has been and continues to be ( as of Oct. 11, 2011) an integral component of the Tribes Stream Restoration effort by providing literally thousands of trees and shrubs which are propagated annually in the Greenhouse and planted as part of the Riparian Corridor development efforts along the banks and throughout the floodplains (52 acres) associated with Mill Creek. This Project component has met and continues to exceed priceless contributions to the riparian vegetation needs associated with Mill Creek and soon the riparian needs of Town Creek, funding permitting.

Project Benefit

Grow our own native riparian vegetation (trees & shrubs) for our own extensive use in restoring the Riparian Corridor along and throughout the banks and floodplain of Mill Creek. In addition, additional trees may be used to supplement Grade and High School greenhouse and restoration vegetation needs.
