Description
This project is complete. The PCSRF funds were spent on the purchase of the Weholite pipe. The first phase of the larger, multi-year ($10.5 million) project that this contributes to have been completed, representing about 1/3 of the overall project. Included in this phase was welding and burying about 3000 feet of 72 inch diameter Weholite pipe, burying 900 feet of concrete sewer pipe and installing a debris screen at the upper end of the project. The other two phases will be completed in FY 05 and 06.

The M&E for this project will include spawning and juvenile fish surveys in the stream including the reach upstream of the diversion dam. Continued fish salvage in the irrigation canal will be coordinated with EFID to eliminate entrainment of residual fish that live and over winter in the Eastside Irrigation Canal. |
