A USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service representative will check and certify the status of the tree and shrub plantings through an annual status review for a period of three years. Subsequently, the status reviews will be turned over to the Farm Service Agency. Photo plots will be set up at the time of planting by CTWS biologists to document the success of the plantings, and the success of the natural re-vegetation process on site. The monitoring effort by CTWS will continue for the life of the project.
