Description

Document the temporal and spatial distribution of juvenile salmonids in north Hood Canal tidal creeks, lagoons, and distributary channels using seines, dip nets, and minnow traps to sample in shallow-water environments. Captured fish will be identified to species, counted, examined for marks, and the first 20 individuals of each species will be measured (FL, fork length) and weighed.

Project Benefit

Identify habitat characteristics and temporal and spatial use by imperiled salmon outside their natal streams.
